Josh Took My Bike!!

So it's been raining a lot lately. And the kids all got new rain boots for Christmas. Every time we go outside to play now, the boys have to have their rubber boots on. And then instead of just playing, they end up playing in the puddles and mud. I'm sure you see where this post is going. (I probably don't need to mention that just going outside for a few minutes involves a full wardrobe change when it's time to come back inside.)
And lately Josh has a thing for taking over Zacher's trike. True, Zach does not know how to pedal it yet. And yes, it's a zippy-cool little red ride. And for the most part Zach does not mind too much. (And Mommy tries to make sure that things stay fair)
But when Zach noticed that Joshy was riding the bike through the water things began to change.
Suddenly a light clicked in that kid's head and he realized "Hey! I can play in the water and ride the cool bike too!".
So, a lot of our morning adventures involved Zach trying to block Josh from riding into the puddles and then glaring after his big brother as he watched his bike spin through the deep water. Ahhh, the frustrations of being the little brother and having to share.
