Don's truck has been waking the neighbors lately - screeching and squealing whenever he starts it up. Finally, having some free time off for Christmas, Don was able to get to the bottom of things. So under a lot of grease and engine components.....he found the problem:
Time for new belts!! Notice the missing tread? Apparently, that is what makes that horrible "neighbor-
irritating" sounds. All is well now and I'm so proud that my sweetie was able to fix things on his own. I love being married to a guy who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty! Now I just have to clean the grease marks off the doorknobs and light switches.
