Why Do Kids Do This?

Is it just me? But doesn't his little nose look WORSE?? (you might have to double-click on the pic to enlarge it to see detail better) And cousins are coming tomorrow night! All those cute photo ops -- and my kid looks like a recovering leper. Why does this kinda thing always happen right before you know you are having photos done or company coming?
