Well - our first official date of 2008 !! It was a L-O-N-G Friday for us all.....and I decided that I needed a "refresh" time away from my sweet (but whining) kiddos. It's funny, but they seemed pretty excited about that idea themselves. Macey is our favorite sitter - she is great with the kids and thankfully she was available at the last minute! So Don and I had dinner out and enjoyed a few hours of downtime. Don noticed that we talked about the kids a lot though!So I asked him what he thought we should talk about.......he responded that on dates we should be mysteriously sophisticated, deeply thoughtful, and sexy. HA HA HA!!! (I told him that he must have taken the wrong girl out for dinner if that is what he was looking for!)
